Music heavy weights, David Guetta and Nicki Minaj, have reportedly invested millions of dollars to an Israeli music startup called Music Messenger, the world’s music message service, an app valued at $100 million dollars.
Music Messenger, found in Israel, is an app that allows users to send messages to friends containing music as easy as sending a text message. The App simply allows the sharing of music from the user’s library.
According to reports, Music Messenger is about to close out a round of funding worth $30 million dollars at a $100 million valuation.
David Guetta and Nicki Minaj are just two of a handful of music artists that have invested in million of dollars into new music apps that will launch in upcoming years in 2015 and 2016.
Currently, Spotify is the king of music app with a nearly $6 billion dollar valuation.
